June marked the conclusion of another impactful Rotary year, and RC Agege celebrated it with gratitude and reflection. Members reviewed accomplishments across education, community health, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment.
A major highlight was our Education Support Program at Oke-Koto Primary School, where we donated school bags, writing materials, and textbooks to 85 pupils. Teachers and parents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the club’s years of consistent educational support.
Our weekly meetings focused on closing out the Rotary year, onboarding new members, and preparing leadership roles for the next cycle. The club also participated in the District 9111 Peacebuilding Webinar, which provided valuable strategies for strengthening community engagement.
As we transition into the new Rotary year, we look forward to the July 2 Kickoff Meeting and a Health Screening Campaign scheduled for mid-July.
A special appreciation goes to Rtn. Samuel Olorunfemi for his tireless efforts throughout the month. His passion and consistency earned him the “Most Active Member” recognition for June.
Thank you to all Rotarians for a successful and fulfilling Rotary year.
