Creating Lasting Impact Through Service
Star Project
RC Agege Vocational Center
(4-Year Legacy Project | 2025–2029)
The primary catchment area of Rotary Club of Agege is a densely populated, cosmopolitan community that remains significantly underserved, with limited access to social amenities and opportunities.
Agege and its environs host a large youth population, many of whom face challenges such as poor educational access, unemployment, substance abuse, and unstable home environments.
In response to these observed needs and prevailing community conditions, Rotary Club of Agege proposes the construction of a Vocational and Training Centre within the community.
The proposed RC Agege Vocational and Rehabilitation Centre will serve as:
- A hub for delivering Rotary community services
- A safe space for youth recreation and engagement
- A vocational training facility for employable skills, reducing youth unemployment and street involvement
- A meeting and networking space for local businesses to foster collaboration on community projects
- A modest revenue-generating asset to support club sustainability
- A fellowship and event space for Rotary activities
We kindly seek your support in delivering this impactful community project.
