2025-2026 DG's VISIT

The Governor of Rotary District 9111, Rtn. (Prince) Henry Akinyele paid an official visit to the Rotary Club of Agege on Tuesday 9th September 2026 in company of District Officers including the District Governor Elect Rtn. Bukola Bakare; District Governor Nominee Rtn. Samuel Ayetutu, and other officers.
They were hosted by the United President Rotary Club of Agege, Rtn. Olufemi Ogungbemi and members of RC Agege.

The day commenced with a visit to Galaxy TV where the District Governor and the Club President were interviewed, and given the opportunity to present Rotary, its principles, its work, its benefits to the listening audience.
A variety of topics were covered during the interview.

The District Governor attended a fun-filled Club fellowship with the District Officers and Club members in the evening at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja.

The District Governor was gracious in his appreciation of the welcome by RC Agege.
Rtn. Ogungbemi (President RC Agege) was enthusiastic in his welcome o the DG and his entourage, assisted by the Leaders and members of RC Agege, including Rtn. Somo Omoniyi amongst others.

The fellowship also incorporated the presentation of work tools to Artisans (Barbers, Hairdressers, Cobbler) under its Community Economic Development project.
The Sergeant -at-Arms of the occasion was Rtn. Ayotunde Oni, who raised a substantial sum.
The Club also made good on its DWEF Contributions to the District.
