Educational Support for Primary School Students

The second phase of the club’s Basic Education and Literacy project took was the distribution of education support materials for Primary School students.

Having been warmly received by the Head Teacher, we took a short tour around the school to inspect the classrooms and greet the students, who later converged at the school’s assembly ground.

Rtn. Wunmi Oyewole addressed the students, speaking about the value of education, sharing moral lessons, and leading them in inspiring songs.

Rtn. Bisi Kappo took her turn to engage the pupils, and they responded with great excitement and joy at our presence.

There was a special session with the Rotakids of the school, who were visibly delighted to be recognized.

After the talks and songs, we distributed exercise books to support the pupils, along with refreshments for both students and teachers.

The Rotakids President gave a heartfelt vote of thanks, filled with emotion and prayers.

The District Education Representative also expressed deep appreciation to Rotary for its continuous efforts in supporting education and contributing to the development of society.
